Thickness Options:

13-15oz: (Average thickness is between 14 and 15 oz but thickness could vary from as much as 16oz in the butt end to 12oz in the shoulder end within a single butt)

7.5-8.5oz: The 7.5-8.5oz hides have been split at the tannery from thicker hides and more consistent in thickness from end to end.

Harness leather is oak bark tanned leather that has been soaked in tallow/grease to increase tensile strength and eliminate any stretch.
